BONANZA -- Boys cross country runner Jacob Thornell placed second at the Sunset Region meet.

CENTENNIAL -- Girls volleyball player Lauren Sagers had 10 kills, 25 assists, 10 digs, five blocks and five aces in two matches. Boys soccer player Kevin Rogge had a goal and an assist in a 2-1 victory over Cheyenne.

CHAPARRAL -- Football player Matt Vaught helped key the offensive line as the Cowboys scored 51 points against Clark.

CIMARRON-MEMORIAL -- Girls volleyball player Jennifer Salls had eight kills, three aces and four digs in a victory over Shadow Ridge.

CORONADO -- Boys soccer player Austin Hartline had two goals and an assist against Del Sol. Girls cross country runner Ali Grace-Sterner finished seventh in the Sunrise Region meet.

ELDORADO -- Boys soccer player Josh Cormier had two second-half goals to help the Sundevils tie Las Vegas, 3-3.

FOOTHILL -- Boys cross country runner Cameron Walker finished second overall at the Sunrise Region meet.

GREEN VALLEY -- Girls volleyball player Jena Chavez had a total of 96 assists, six aces, 13 digs, four kills and two blocks in three matches.

MOAPA VALLEY -- Boys cross country runner Josh Thompson placed second in the Class 3A Southern League meet.

MOUNTAIN VIEW -- Football player Billy Paddack had 18 tackles against Calvary Chapel.

PALO VERDE -- Boys soccer player Kyle Barker had the winning goal against Cimarron-Memorial. Girls cross country runner Ashley Wimmer placed fourth in the Sunset Region meet.

SHADOW RIDGE -- Girls volleyball player Taylor Warburton had a total of 25 kills and six blocks in matches against Cimarron-Memorial and Palo Verde.

SIERRA VISTA -- Girls volleyball player Katrina Paul had six digs and six service points against Spring Valley.

SILVERADO -- Girls volleyball player Rebecca Agae had seven kills, 15 assists and three aces in a victory over Green Valley. Football player Telvin McMillian rushed for 260 yards and four touchdowns to help the Skyhawks complete an undefeated regular season.

VALLEY -- Boys soccer goalkeeper Pedro Arias posted shutouts against Rancho and Desert Pines to give him six shutouts in his freshman season.
