Girls cross country runner Zanae Jones finished second at the Northwest League championship with a time of 17 minutes, 5 seconds for 2.8 miles, leading the Aggies to the team championship.

■ BASIC - Football player Antraye Johnson had 260 yards rushing, ran for three touchdowns, ran for four 2-point conversions and passed for another in a 40-11 win against Foothill.

■ BONANZA - Boys cross country runner Robert Rudd finished fifth at the Southwest League championship in 14:55 for 2.8 miles. Girls cross country runner Emily Adams placed seventh at the Southwest League championship in 17:53.

■ CANYON SPRINGS - Football player Fabian Leos anchored an offensive line that helped the Pioneers gain 278 yards in a 51-0 victory over Rancho. Girls cross country runner Brooklyn Allison placed ninth in the Northeast League championship meet with a 3.1-mile time of 22:25.2.

■ CENTENNIAL - Boys tennis players Max Novak and Lucas Lee won the Sunset Region individual doubles title. Girls volleyball player Tiana Bonds recorded nine kills in a 3-0 victory over Bonanza.

■ CHEYENNE - Football player Dylan Power had three catches for 27 yards, eight tackles and 3½ sacks in a 40-14 victory over Faith Lutheran. Girls soccer player Mackenzie Smith scored two goals in a 3-0 victory over Clark.

■ CORONADO - Girls golfer Natalie Yamamoto carded a 74 at the Sunrise Region meet to finish tied for fourth. Boys cross country runner Nick Bosse placed fourth at the Southeast League championship in 16:48 for 3.1 miles, helping the Cougars to the team title.

■ DEL SOL - Boys soccer player Randy Delemos notched two goals in a 4-0 win over Foothill.

■ DURANGO - Boys soccer player Wasajja Walugembe had three goals and two assists in a 7-1 victory over Spring Valley.

■ FAITH LUTHERAN - Boys soccer player D'Khari Hicks totaled four goals and four assists in three games. Girls tennis doubles players Chandler Young and Rachel Taber became the first players in school history to qualify for the state tennis tournament.

■ LIBERTY - Girls cross country runner Elizabeth Noel placed fifth out of 99 freshmen in the 2.5-mile Freshman/Sophomore Cross Country Championships at Desert Breeze Park in a time of 19:02.5.

■ THE MEADOWS - Girls cross country runner Krista Thompson finished second in the Southern League championship with a personal-best time of 22:07 for 3.1 miles.

■ MOUNTAIN VIEW - Football player Matt Larson rushed for 282 yards and three touchdowns against Needles. Girls golfer Rachel Horita shot a two-day 192 to finish second at the Division III state tournament.

■ PALO VERDE - Boys soccer player Mitchell Scott scored in a 1-0 victory over Arbor View. Girls soccer player Alexa D'Acunto scored two goals in a 3-1 victory over Sierra Vista.

■ SIERRA VISTA - Boys soccer player Isaac Banda helped anchor the defense in a 2-0 victory over Sping Valley. Girls soccer goalkeeper Cypress Whipple had two saves in recording her third shutout in a 2-0 win over Spring Valley and had nine saves against Arbor View.
