TODAY AT HOLLYWOOD PARK

Post Time 12:30 p.m.
Race 1 - 1 1/16th miles, Purse $16,000, Maiden claiming $32,000, 2-year-olds
7 All Slews Star - Taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to maiden claiming; tactical speed stretching out.
3 Call Me Later - 5-of-7 in the money finishes; he's had a lot of chances, too many for a very short-priced animal.
Long Shot - 5 Diamond Touch
Race 2 - 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $16,000, Claiming $25,000, 3-year-olds and up
5 Rents Paid - Dead-late closer has found a very soft spot; suspect a bevy of claim slips will be put in on this guy.
1 Master Chef - Been away 6 months, but returns with Garrett Gomez up; big class drop points to an obvious candidate.
Long Shot - 3 Five a Day
Race 3 - 6 furlongs, Purse $23,000, Claiming $25,000, Fillies, 2-year-olds
2 Poison Kiss - We'll find out if her sharp debut win was legit or not; overpowered the field in the stretch run.
5 Meter Me Gone - Big class drop points out this obvious contender; leading rider Joel Rosario sits for one brush.
Long Shot - 1 Brazzle Dazzle
Race 4 - 6 furlongs (turf), Purse $38,000, Maiden special weights, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
7 Candace Gold - Speedball figures to try and bottom out this field; adding blinkers on for even more early speed.
2 Catchy Tune - Has closed fast in her 2 races, but sits too far back; Paco Gonzalez tries blinkers on for this try.
Long Shot - 1 Bitt a Heat
Race 5 - 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $43,000, Optional claiming $80,000, 2-year-olds
3 Mr Artistic M D - Kathy Walsh rarely wins with FTS; her babies improve with experience, expect the same here.
4 Gibson Home Run - Speedball will run with a target on his back; simple tactics of go as fast and as far as he can.
Long Shot - 6 Ominous Thomas
Race 6 - 7 furlongs, Purse $26,000, Claiming $32,000, 3-year-olds and up
7 Bestdressed - Dead-late closer will be finishing fastest of all; big class drop provides important class relief.
5 Cape Truth - Back class and high early speed make him ultra dangerous; Garrett Gomez saves something for the finish.
Long Shot - 3 Booyah
Race 7 - 1 1/16th miles (turf), Purse $44,000, Allowance, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
1 Talktoomuch - Showed big improvement first off the claim by Mike Mitchell; saves ground and could upset in here.
5 Westwood Pride - Class relief from the grade 1 Matriarch for this allowance condition; chalk will be a very short price.
Long Shot - 4 Bran Jammas
Race 8 - 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $12,000, Claiming $8,000, 3-year-olds and up
10 Bad Boy - All he does is win regardless of the trainer; the question if he repeats his race to win his fifth straight.
11 Dee Dee's Legacy - Parking lot post, but an ideal spot to clock the favorite; Joe Talamo will try to race ride David Flores.
Long Shot - 1 Majestic Diamond
Best Bet - 5 Rents Paid (race 2)
Hollywood Park Sunday - Picks/Winners/Mutuels, 18/5/$26.00; Long Shots, 9/1/$9.80; Best Bet, 1/1/$4.60
Hollywood Park Totals - 416/122/$685.60; Long Shots, 211/34/$335.80; Best Bets, 25/13/$45.00
SIMULCAST PICK OF THE DAY - 2 Come On Lenard (4/1) in race 5 at Fair Grounds. For scoring purposes, we'll make a hypothetical $2 win, place and show bet, $6 total. On Sunday, Artie's Chapter ran second at the Aqueduct paying $4.40 to place and $2.40 to show. Stats - 204/145/$1,119.30
