Long Shot - Yukon Bull
Race 2 - 1 mile (turf), Purse $24,000, Starter allowance $40,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
Magic Launch - Second in all three of her turf tries; her mile races are fast enough to beat these.
Glass of Red - Showed solid improvement in second U.S. start; appears to be coming along for Kathy Walsh.
Long Shot - Salty Sarah
Race 3 - 6 furlongs, Purse $10,000, Claiming $8,000, Fillies and mares, 4-year-olds and up
Desperate - Mike Mitchell barn is en fuego of late; big rider switch to Rafael Bejarano for the money shot.
For Sure for Sure - Class rise coming down from NoCal for this; exits a big win she may bounce from.
Long Shot - Havens Lake
Race 4 - 1 1/4 miles (turf), $150,000 Santa Barbara Handicap, Fillies and mares, 4-year-olds and up
Tuscan Evening - She is a proven Santa Anita turf specialist; 6-of-9 turf victores have come in Arcadia.
Cat by the Tale - Has finished second 3 times to the favorite; 3 times is a little more than a trend.
Long Shot - General Consensus
Race 5 - 1 1/16th miles, Purse $19,000, Maiden claiming $32,000, Fillies, 3-year-olds
Pocatello Wild Dat - Shows some moxie finishing in the money her last 5 starts; can get over the hump today.
Afleet Breeze - Tepid chalk in a difficult heat; green debut where she started slow, but finished fast.
Long Shot - If You Knew Susie
Race 6 - 7 furlongs, Purse $46,000, Optional claiming $40,000, 4-year-olds and up
Afleet Ruler - Ran well in return off a lengthy 20-month hiatus; working fast indicates more fitness.
Valkyrie Missile - Underachiever finally graduated after many close calls; sometimes it helps them see the light.
Long Shot - Equiparado
Race 7 - 1 mile (turf), Purse $52,000, Optional claiming $62,500, 4-year-olds and up
Hyades - Like the rider switch to Joel Rosario; was never given a chance in last despite a fast pace to chase.
Monzante - Logical chalk has the most back class in the field; he won a race like this two back.
Long Shot - Dewey's Special
Race 8 - 6 furlongs, Purse $15,000, Claiming $12,500, Fillies, 4-year-olds
Miss Anime - Dead late closer draws a parking lot post to clock the early speed; best stride will come late.
Wada Falls - Sunland invader is bullet fast; favorite because the dollars will gravitate to Rafael Bejarano.
Long Shot - Light of a Star
Race 9 - 6 1/2 furlongs (turf), $100,000 San Simeon Handicap, 4-year-olds and up
Cherokee Heaven - Proven commodity down the hill; inside post does better when the rail is at zero.
Mr Gruff - Tepid chalk in a wide open grass sprint; he loves the hillside course too, nearly unbeaten over it.
Long Shot - Noble Court
Race 10 - 6 furlongs, Purse $44,000, Maiden special weights, 3-year-olds
Kevlar Kid - FTS from Carla Gaines barn; key for me is the vote of Rafael Bejarano, watch the tote for clues.
Bring It - Another FTS, this one from Jeff Mullins; you'll have an edge of seeing the betting activity.
