Post Time 1 p.m.
Race 1 – 1 1/16th miles, Purse $20,000, Claiming $16,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
Cape Diver – Sharp win in last, now climbs a rung up the claiming ladder; saves all the ground, grinds it out late.
Soldier Betty – Sliding down the claiming ladder to this very winnable spot; need not be much to brush to victory.
Long Shot – Kalookan Year
Race 2 – 6 furlongs, Purse $48,000, Allowance, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
Dish the Dirt – Just missed in last, Mike Smith had choices and opted to ride for Peter Eurton; be along in time.
Queen Mariles – Joel Rosario is an able replacement for Smith; speedy sort can clock the field from the wide out.
Long Shot – Cosmic Queen
Race 3 – 61/2 furlongs, Purse $52,000, Optional claiming $62,500, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
Inspiration Within – Exits a Cal-bred stakes for this modest open O/C; the Ed Moger barn has suddenly gotten red hot.
Cry and Catch Me – Chalk has been away 10-months, but showed ability in winning the Oak Leaf; she made need a race.
Long Shot – Witchy Meeting
Race 4 – 51/2 furlongs, Purse $13,000, Claiming $12,500, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
Thankfully – Speedball draws the advantageous rail for a go trip; Joel Rosario plays catch me if you can.
Crooked Smile – Cruised to a cheap maiden win, but is placed properly to remain competitive; speed to attend the pace.
Long Shot – Swiss Marci
Race 5 – 1 1/16th miles (turf, rail at 10 feet), Purse $35,000, Claiming $40,000
Hiho Geronimo – There is enough early heat to set up his closing style; hugs the rail and saves all the ground.
Hammurabi – Has proven he can succeed without the lead; beat nothing in last but did it with the right style.
Long Shot – Overtime Victory
Race 6 – 1 1/16th miles, Purse $55,000, Allowance, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
Hot ën Dusty – Should get a nice trip, but Alex Solis is averse to a rail ride; she appears to be better than these.
Burg Berg – Can be a possible lone speed here, the most dangerous bet in racing; Aaron Gryder should send and sit.
Long Shot – Raiding Party
Race 7 – 1 mile (turf, rail at 10 feet), Purse $55,000, Allowance, Fillies and mares, 4-year-olds and up
Storybook – Ran like she needed the race in last, her first in 3-months; should be a lot tighter for this test.
Soft Shoe Shuffle – Among many who chased the stakes winner Tuscan Evening in last; Brice Blanc is underrated.
Long Shot – Meydan Princess
Race 8 – 1 1/16th miles, $150,000 Hollywood Oaks, Fillies, 3-year-olds
Third Dawn – Did not run a step at Keeneland, a public workout; her nose loss to Stardom Bound points her out today.
Diamond Tags – Tried her best in tough turf debut at Churchill; can rebound at square odds on synthetic, saves ground.
Long Shot – Evita Argentina
Race 9 – 1 1/16th miles, Purse $16,000, Maiden claiming $25,000, 3-year-olds and up
Personality Kid – Need not be much to get his photo taken; big class drop is the main reason for backing him.
Just Heat – First start in new barn of John Sadler; leap of faith that Rafael Bejarano legs up on a live one.
Long Shot – Drake Lake
Best Bet – Cape Diver (race 1)
Hollywood Saturday- Picks/Winners/Mutuels, 19/5/$35.00; Long Shots, 9/0/$0; Best Bet, 1/0/$0
