African Gray – Clever win in debut at 12/1 odds; stretches out first time around 2-turns, Rafael Bejarano takes over.

Mat the Maiter’d – The rail post is a big assist going one mile; is bred by Cherokee Run to handle the stretch out.

Long Shot – Scorpio Dog

Race 3 – 6 1/2 furlongs (turf, rail at 24 feet), Purse $45,000, Maiden special weights, 3-year-olds

Luckiest Man – Speedball exits a much tougher race at Del Mar than he faces today; suspect will get way overbet.

Air Strike – Like that he exited a key race in career debut; broke slow that day, hopefully he’s matured a bit.

Long Shot – Hold Fast

Race 4 – 1 mile, Purse $46,000, Maiden special weights, 4-year-olds and up

Lowther Street – Colt has been sitting on a win, been well bet in his last four starts; softest field he’s ever faced.

Bostoner – Like the stretch out in distance for trainer Mike Mitchell; Rafael Bejarano can’t shake Garrett Gomez.

Long Shot – No Pun Intended

Race 5 – 1 mile (turf, rail at 24 feet), Purse $52,000, Optional claiming $25,000, Cal-breds, 4-year-olds and up

North Fork – Was asked to rally into a paceless race last time; he’s proven to be better over synthetic surfaces.

One On the House – Second best last time to a very good Soupy; tactical speed to sit a perfect trip.

Stormin Away – Jeff Mullins has given up on him, but he still wants to win the purse; like that Garrett Gomez is up.

One Shot – Just missed in this same condition last time; has enough back class where a repeat race is probable.

Dream Now – He won his MSW down the hillside like he was born to do it; Julio Canani barn is blazing hot right now.

Leedstheway – Speedball broke his maiden for an $80K tag, was not taken from Jeff Mullins; will love the rail out 24 feet.

Dixie Lucky – Big barn switch as the maestro Jerry Hollendorfer takes over; first thing he does is hire Garrett Gomez.

Rev Her Up – Beaten favorite exits a key race, always flattering; she has tactical speed to sit a perfect trip.
