Post Time 12:30 p.m.
Race 1 - 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $10,000, Claiming $10,000, Fillies, 3-year-olds
Sunset Tijuana - Beaten favorite takes a small, but important, class drop; like that Rafael Bejarano remains loyal.
Classy Bay - Tepid chalk in an open race; moves from the extreme outside post 13 to the rail for this try.
Long Shot - Stormy Racer
Race 2 - 1 1/16th miles, Purse $9,000, Claiming $8,000, 3-year-olds and up
Vice Admiral - Just missed sprinting last time, now stretches back out around 2-turns; has a lot of back class.
Bodacat - Beaten favorite should get a perfect stalking trip from the outside post; another one not big at winning.
Long Shot - Proud Heritage
Race 3 - 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $18,000, Maiden claiming $40,000, Cal-breds, 2-year-olds
Tom Quinn - Beaten favorite gets a favorable post on the class drop; suspect will stalk the early pace.
Bruin Beach - Not typical seeing Rafael Bejarano in such cheap races; appears ready to fire his best salvo.
Long Shot - Impregnable
Race 4 - 6 furlongs (turf, rail at 20 feet), Purse $42,000, Allowance, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
Royal Taat - Dead closer overpowered a weaker group in last; Garrett Gomez can still carve out a nice trip.
Pretty Carina - Invader for Bobby Frankel; her high cheese will be flattered by the turf rail out 20 feet.
Long Shot - Christiana's Heat
Race 5 - 6 furlongs, Purse $23,000, Starter allowance $40,000, Fillies, 2-year-olds
Grace Gryder - The logical contenders run with speed; expect Joe Talamo to sit a trip and fire fast late.
Dixie Hawks - One of the speedballs is favored under Rafael Bejarano; among many who just graduated.
Long Shot - Lu Baton
Race 6 - 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $37,000, Maiden special weights, 3-year-olds and up
Full On - FTS from Mike Pupye showed enough in the a.m. to seduce Gomez off the favorite; watch the tote.
Cajun Gent - Logical chalk has already lost 3 times at short odds; yet his speed figures are fast enough.
Long Shot - Star Time
Race 7 - 1 1/16th miles (turf, rail at 20 feet), Purse $40,000, Allowance, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
Kyniska - Irish invader for trainer Frankel; he appears ready to reload for 2009 with great looking stock.
Lemon Punch - Steady runner has lacked the killer instinct to convert victories; figures to be grinding late.
Long Shot - Darling Mambo
Race 8 - 6 furlongs, Purse $18,000, Maiden claiming $40,000, Cal-breds, Fillies, 2-year-olds
Thelma Rose - To see Bejarano and Gomez ride in a race this cheap, they must be live; grinder in the lane.
Glow Girl Go - FTS from trainer Doug O’Neill; Gomez doesn’t ride to give a horse a race, they are ready to go.
Long Shot - O Firefly
Best Bet - Kyniska (race 7)
