8 Follow The Crowd - Strong return off a 14-month hiatus; could be she improved, could be she liked the big class drop.
7 Golden Tranquility - Claimed by a low-percentage barn so expect lots of value; need not be much to compete.
Long Shot - 5 Pet Me Pet Me

5 Jailbird Jimmy - Another first-time gelding should enjoy the change; big class drop off an 8-month hiatus.
7 Star Nicholas - Veteran has seen better days, but keeps plugging away; claimed by Jack Carava who bumps him up.
Long Shot - 3 Practical Magic
Race 4 - 6 furlongs, Purse $22,000, Maiden claiming $20,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
9 Duda Ten - Taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to maiden claiming; these should be her friends.
7 Judy's My Angel - Peter Miller adding blinkers on; she too is dropping down from MSW to maiden claiming.

7 Mark of a Warrior - Reclaimed by Jack Carava, one of the best trainer angles in racing; has winning ways too.
1 Sky Thrill - Has a solid synthetic resume with 10-of-13 in-the-money finishes; need not be much at this class.

1 Courageous Cat - East coast shipper for Bill Mott has found a soft spot for a grade 1; note his second to Goldikova.
6 Victor's Cry - Main pitch is his love for the Inglewood turf course; has enough back class, key will be fitness.
Long Shot - Caracortado

3 Mint Humor - Was flattered in debut when second to next-out winner Thirtyfirststreet; wins with one-step improvement.
12 Madeoftherightstuf - Was flying late in debut to just miss; huge rider switch to Rafael Bejarano for the money shot.
Long Shot - 11 He's So Stylish

8 Kid Edward - Lot of layoff horses with tons of back class; this is clearly a tune-up for bigger fish later on.

7 Amazombie - Was much the best in last despite a ticky-tack foul; may be the best sprinter on the west coast.
5 Color of Courage - Gets tested for class today off a pair of big wins; he comes from out of the clouds.

3 Unhitchthetrailor - Was flattered when Majestic City won next out; Gary Sherluck adding blinkers on and David Flores.
