Post Time Noon
Race 1 - 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $31,000, Claiming $32,000, Fillies, 3-year-olds
Havens Lake - Good effort last time for a $50k price tag, now dropping to $32k; switching from turf to Cushion tonight.
Princess Susan M - Another strong candidate switching from turf to Cushion track; like the turn back in distance too.
Long Shot - Beau Chant
Race 2 - 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $15,000, Maiden claiming $25,000, 3-year-olds and up
Syndicator - Appears to be developing seconditis, but to his credit he is improving with each start; will be along in time.
Wayne Manor - Taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to maiden claiming; his race two back for a tag was good.
Long Shot - Tizsong
Race 3 - 6 furlongs (turf), Purse $48,000, Maiden special weights, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
Solar Miss - All the logical contenders drew the parking lot posts; slender choice because Bejarano can make a difference.
Private Quarters - Drew the worst post of all; Brian Koriner babies typically improve a lot in their second career start.
Long Shot - Precious Union
Race 4 - 6 furlongs, Purse $51,000, Allowance, 3-year-olds and up
Street Lights - Should be ready to fire his best in third start off a 11-month sabbatical; great try in last losing effort.
Usurp - Monster MSW win for Ron Ellis; he switches to the main man, Rafael Bejarano, but figures to get way overbet today.
Long Shot - Winsome Charm
Race 5 - 1 1/4 miles (turf), $300,000 Charlie Whittingham Memorial Handicap, 3-year-olds and up
Champs Elysess - Was forced to move early last time due to a dawdling pace; Bejarano will take back and make one big run.
Monzante - Appeared overmatched last time in the Mervyn LeRoy; tries turf marathon where Mike Mitchell has a magical touch.
Long Shot - Artiste Royal
Race 6 - 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $48,000, Maiden special weights, 3-year-olds
Yankee Station - Very good debut considering trainer John Shirreffs doesn't wind them too tight; expect improvement today.
Ace High Hand - Beaten favorite ran well last time off a 11-month sabbatical; figures to improve a step putting him right there.
Long Shot - Victor's Cry
Race 7 - 1 1/8th miles (turf), $175,000 Honeymoon Handicap, Fillies, 3-year-olds
Missit - Won her U.S. debut and I doubt if Ben Cecil had her really cranked up; her upside potential has yet to be reached.
Sweeter Still - She has shown a ton of guts in dogfights in her last four starts; tactical speed to sit a perfect trip.
Long Shot - Bel Air Sizzle
Race 8 - 6 furlongs, Purse $31,000, Claiming $32,000, 4-year-olds and up
Spot the Diplomat - Sliding down the claiming ladder for Carla Gaines; her barn has cooled after a monstrous Santa Anita meet.
Gray Black N White - Fought gamely in a rapidly paced turf sprint last time; returns to Cushion track where he's done well.
Long Shot - Hit and Hope
Race 9 - 1 mile (turf), $75,000 Redondo Beach, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
Wake Up Maggie - There is so much speed in here, the race shape favors a closer; Joe Talamo is as patient as they come.
Passified - Dead game effort to lose a photo off a 7-month hiatus; she has proven she does not need the lead to succeed.
Long Shot - Lemon Chiffon
Race 10 - 7 1/2 furlongs, $100,000 Ack Ack Handicap, 3-year-olds and up
Bold Chieftain - I've always liked this horse, and have cashed a few times on him; Russell Baze can sit a stalking trip.
Tropic Storm - Speedy win last time with a promise of more on the stretch out; his form improved a lot over synthetics.
Long Shot - Dixie Meister
Race 11 - 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $14,000, Claiming $10,000, Fillies and mares, 4-year-olds and up
Excessive Tale - Failed first time off the claim for Frank Monteleone; taken to win maybe second time off the claim.
Spy Aly - Steve Knapp likes to win on the drop and this mare is really dropping in class, like an anchor; flash early speed.
Long Shot - Bold Cleo
Best Bet - Champs Elysess (race 5)
