Post Time 1:20 p.m.
Race 1 - 6 furlongs, Purse $20,000, Claiming $16,000, 3-year-olds
Uxmal - Ted West barn has won 5-of-14 starts so far this meet; he drops this colt off the claim, jams it down our throats.
County Tune - Dead late closer figures to see a quick enough pace to flatter his running style; Court sits to make one run.
Long Shot - Flirting for Love
Race 2 - 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $26,000, Maiden claiming $62,500, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
Desert Siren - Leap of faith that Bejarano climbing on board is a good sign; biggest class drop from MSW to maiden claiming.
Street Zoning - Been away 8-months, but flashed something that is always dangerous, early speed; watch the tote for clues.
Long Shot - Glory N Thehighest
Race 3 - 1 mile (turf, rail at 20 feet), Purse $39,000, Claiming $50,000, Fillies, 3-year-olds
Rapid Goose - In the money all three of her turf starts; draws perfectly for a turf mile, very short run to the first turn.
Stately Appeal - Stretches out around 2-turns for the first time; she's a closer, we'll see if the distance reduces her punch.
Long Shot - Spinning Yarns
Race 4 - 7 furlongs, Purse $20,000, Maiden claiming $40,000, Cal-breds, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
Princess Arjumand - Parking lot post is OK in this 1-turn elongated sprint; O'Neill has an uncoupled entry, be forewarned.
Could She - Taking the biggest class drop in racing from an MSW to maiden claiming; need not be much to compete with these.
Long Shot - High Performance
Race 5 - 1 mile (turf, rail at 20 feet), Purse $39,000, Claiming $50,000, Fillies and mares, 4-year-olds and up
The King's Lass - Logical chalk has been knocking on the door of late; the Kathy Walsh barn has been en fuego this meet.
Missoula - Outran her odds last time starting first time for Jeff Mullins; when Mullins gets them good, they stay good.
Long Shot - Zoemeg
Race 6 - 1 1/16th miles, Purse $31,000, Maiden claiming $80,000, 3-year-olds and up
Turn to the King - SoCal trainers historically have done very well with South Florida imports; Sadler picked a soft spot.
Serengeti - Tepid chalk has been an unachiever for Bobby Frankel; he officially becomes a cull first time for a price tag.
Long Shot - Lake Meza
Race 7 - 1 1/4 miles (turf, rail at 20 feet), Purse $53,000, Optional claiming $40,000, 3-year-olds and up
Farleigh House - He appears well suited to handle the marathon distance; after two good seconds, he's ready to break through.
Esporte Dos Reis - Got a test drive last time in his U.S. debut; ran many marathon distances in Brazil in stakes company.
Long Shot - Smoocher
Race 8 - 5 furlongs, Purse $48,000, Maiden special weights, 2-year-olds
Spaniard - They made the wrong favorite, this Bob Baffert bullet figures to be the chalk; think Candy Ride is a good stallion?
Candy Lion - Here's another Candy Ride colt, and I've heard they all look good; Hollendorfer hires Bejarano for debut.
Long Shot - The Final Roar
Best Bet - Farleigh House (race 7)
