Dee Gordon’s father, former big league pitcher Tom Gordon, was nicknamed “Flash.” But the moniker seems more appropriate for Dee, the Miami Marlins second baseman who showcased his speed Tuesday when he hit an inside-the-park home run in a 5-3 win over the San Francisco Giants.
According to Statcast, Gordon hit a top speed of 20.579 mph and raced around the bases in 14.298 seconds.
