Joseph Benavidez says his personality clashed with Henry Cejudo’s while filming The Ultimate Fighter season 24.
Benavidez, who currently comes in as the no. 1 ranked UFC flyweight, explains why he can’t stand Cejudo. According to Benavidez, Cejudo has also backed out of planned bouts with him in the past.
Cejudo and Benavidez spent six weeks coaching opposite one another in Las Vegas. The two top-ranked flyweights coached 16 champions in a tournament that will determine the next title contender on the 24th season of The Ultimate Fighter. The show airs Wednesdays on Fox Sports 1.
The pair will collide at the TUF 24 Finale in Las Vegas on Dec. 3rd in the co-main event. The main event will feature this season’s finalist who will challenge UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson for the belt.
