Mojave’s Norris to play for Bradley

Mojave boys basketball player Darian Norris signed a letter of intent Wednesday to play at Bradley.
Norris visited the campus last weekend.
The 5-foot-11-inch guard, who averaged 18.7 points, 7.1 assists and 5.1 rebounds in leading the Rattlers to a 25-2 record, was a first team all-state selection as a senior.
He originally signed with South Carolina State before receiving a release from his letter of intent.
• BENGALS COACHES -- Bonanza has announced the hiring of two coaches. Rich Eurich was hired to coach the boys basketball team, and Thomas Rainey will take over the boys soccer team.
Eurich was the girls basketball coach at Palo Verde the past two seasons, leading the Panthers to a 23-9 record last season. In two seasons, Palo Verde was 34-21 under Eurich.
• MALM COMMITS -- Bishop Gorman junior baseball star Jeff Malm has orally committed to play at Southern California.
Malm, a first team all-state pick as a sophomore, is hitting .573 with six home runs and 50 RBIs. He also has a 3-1 record with a 2.24 ERA.
• EX-JAGUAR SIGNS -- Former Desert Pines girls basketball standout Katie Williams signed with Division II Cal State Bakersfield.
Williams averaged 27.3 points, 11.8 rebounds and 4.6 steals for Reedley (Calif.) College as a sophomore last season.
