IndyCars slam together in a massive crash during the IZOD IndyCar World Championship at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway in Las Vegas on Oct. 16, 2011. The wreck claimed the life of IndyCar star Dan Wheldon, who suffered head injuries and died at University Medical Center after the crash. A total of fifteen cars were involved in the crash.
