Patrick plans Las Vegas Nationwide stop

Danica Patrick intends to make Las Vegas Motor Speedway the second stop of her 2010 rookie season in the NASCAR Nationwide Series.

Patrick signed a two-year deal this week with Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s JR Motorsports team and plans to compete in the first three races on NASCAR's second-tier series, according to a source in the motor sports industry.

The Sam's Town 300 Nationwide race at Las Vegas is Feb. 27, a day before the Shelby American Sprint Cup Series race.

• KYLE BUSCH ADDS TRUCKS -- Kyle Busch scheduled a news conference for today and is expected to announce that his Kyle Busch Motorsports operation will field three trucks next season in the NASCAR Camping World Series.

The lead driver for Busch, who has driven trucks owned by Billy Ballew Motorsports, will be 2008 truck series champion Johnny Benson, according to reports on Sirius satellite radio.

Busch probably will drive one of the trucks part time in the series, in which he won seven of 15 races he entered this year for Ballew.
