NASCAR Champions Week features several events for fans

NASCAR Champions Week makes its return to Las Vegas starting today, and stock-car racing fans will have plenty of opportunities to see their favorite drivers in person at events around the valley.
TODAY-FRIDAY
NASCAR Pit Stop Tour each day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. with show cars at the Tropicana, The Palazzo, Harrah’s, Coca-Cola store, M&M’s World and the “Welcome to Las Vegas” sign.
TODAY
Sprint Cup champion Jimmie Johnson appears on NASCAR Live from 4 to 5 p.m. at the Wynn Las Vegas sports book.
WEDNESDAY
Fanfest presented by Las Vegas Motor Speedway at the Fremont Street Experience at 1:30 p.m. The 13 Chase for the Sprint Cup drivers will appear on a red carpet and onstage.
THURSDAY
NASCAR NMPA Myers Brothers Awards Luncheon from 11 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. at the Encore Ballroom at Wynn Las Vegas. Several team and individual awards will be given out.
NASCAR Victory Lap from 2:45 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on the Strip. The Chase drivers will start and finish the parade in front of the Miracle Mile Shops.
NASCAR After the Lap from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at The Pearl Palms Concert Theater inside the Palms. Drivers get to show their personal side to the fans.
FRIDAY
NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Awards at 5 p.m. at Wynn Las Vegas. Included will be a NASCAR Fan Reception and Red Carpet Walk.
