No. 3. Arizona rallies for OT win

TUCSON, Ariz. - Kevin Parrom scored five of his 16 points in overtime after No. 3 Arizona staged an improbable rally, and the Wildcats escaped with a 92-83 victory over Colorado in the teams' Pac-12 opener Thursday.
Colorado's Sabatino Chen banked in a 3-pointer at the end of regulation, but the basket was waved off after video review. Referees ruled the ball was still on Chen's fingertips as time expired.
Arizona (13-0) outscored the Buffaloes 10-2 over the final 1:35 of regulation to force the overtime. The Wildcats trailed by 17 points in the first half and 16 with 12:40 left in regulation. Askia Booker led Colorado (10-3) with 18 points.
■ No. 2 Michigan 94, Northwestern 66 - At Evanston, Ill., Trey Burke scored 23 points, Tim Hardaway Jr. added 21, and the Wolverines (14-0) routed the Wildcats (9-5) in the teams' Big Ten opener. Hardaway, a junior, made 4 of 5 3-point attempts after missing Michigan's previous game with an ankle injury.
■ No. 10 Gonzaga 78, Pepperdine 62 - At Malibu, Calif., Elias Harris scored 18 points and Kelly Olynyk supplied 16, helping the Bulldogs (14-1) pull away from the Waves (8-6) in the teams' West Coast Conference opener.
REGIONAL
■ Brigham Young 92, Loyola Marymount 51 - At Provo, Utah, Matt Carlino scored 21 points and Tyler Haws had 20, leading the Cougars (11-4) to a blowout over the Lions (7-7) in the teams' West Coast Conference opener.
