Ogide fuels Colorado State to road win over Wyoming

LARAMIE, Wyo. -- Andy Ogide scored 22 points as Colorado State stopped Wyoming 83-73 on Wednesday in the Mountain West Conference opener for both schools.

The Rams (10-5) led the entire way and used strong outside shooting to hold off a late Wyoming charge.

The Cowboys (7-8) got two 3-pointers from Arthur Bouedo to cut the Colorado State lead to three with 4:30 remaining, but the Rams responded with 3-pointers from Adam Nigon and Dorian Green and outscored Wyoming 15-8 down the stretch.

Adam Waddell led Wyoming with 18 points. Bouedo scored 15 and JayDee Luster 13.

Nigon had 16 points for Colorado State. Green scored 15 and Travis Franklin 10.

• Texas Christian 59, Air Force 50 -- At Fort Worth, Texas, Zvonko Buljan had 14 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Horned Frogs over the Falcons in the conference opener for both teams.

Kevin Butler and Greg Hill had 12 points each, and Ronnie Moss scored 10 for the Horned Frogs (8-7).

Mike Fitzgerald and Taylor Broekhuis had 11 points each to lead Air Force (8-6).

With 4:21 remaining, TCU began an 11-0 run that gave it a game-sealing 55-44 lead. Hill and Butler had a field goal and two free throws apiece during the stretch.
