Prep all-star games scheduled in football, baseball, basketball, soccer

The high school sports season is over, but area fans will have a few more chances to see local seniors represent their schools at upcoming all-star games.
In football, seniors from the Sunset Region will play their Sunrise counterparts in the 39th West Charleston Lions Club High School All-Star Game at 7 p.m. June 5 at Bishop Gorman. Tickets are a $5 donation to the Lions Club.
Gorman's Tony Sanchez will coach the Sunset team, with Del Sol's Preston Goroff serving as the Sunrise coach.
The Southern Nevada Baseball Coaches Association All-Star Game will pit Sunset seniors against the Sunrise at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the College of Southern Nevada.
In boys basketball, the Sunrise-Sunset Senior All-Star Game is at 4 p.m. Saturday at Chaparral. Tickets are $5. An exhibition game involving additional seniors will be played at 2 p.m.
In girls basketball, three games are Wednesday at Basic. Admission is free. A Sunrise game involving players from all classes in the Northeast and Southeast leagues will be played at 5 p.m., followed by a Sunset game involving Northwest and Southwest players at 6. A game featuring only seniors will pit Sunset players against the Sunrise at 7.
In soccer, the 18th Green Valley Rotary Club High School All-Star events matching Sunset against Sunrise seniors are scheduled for Wednesday at UNLV.
The girls game is at 5 p.m. and the boys game at 7. Tickets are $3.
