Rose wins 100th game at BYU

HONOLULU -- Coach Dave Rose won his 100th game at Brigham Young with Friday night's 83-65 victory over Hawaii.
Rose reached the milestone in his 134th game, the fastest any BYU coach has done so.
Jimmer Fredette led all scorers with 20 points and had a game-high eight assists for the Cougars (3-0). Jonathan Tavernari added 17 points, including 3-for-7 from 3-point range, against the Warriors (2-2).
• New Mexico 83, Nicholls State 59 -- At Albuquerque, N.M., every New Mexico player got into the scoring column, with Phillip McDonald's 18 points leading four Lobos (3-0) in double figures, in a victory over the Colonels (0-3) on the first day of the Basketball Travelers World Vision Classic.
• Air Force 95, Dickinson State 77 -- At Air Force Academy, Colo., Evan Washington and Grant Parker combined for 33 points on 12-for-12 shooting to lead the Falcons (2-0) past the Blue Hawks (1-6) in the first round of the Reggie Minton Classic.
Air Force will face Northern Colorado (4-0) tonight in the tournament's championship game.
• Indiana State 65, Colorado State 60 -- At Terre Haute, Ind., sophomore Dwayne Lathan posted team-leading totals of 18 points and nine rebounds off the bench as the Sycamores (3-1) defeated the Rams (2-2).
Harry Marshall added 15 points for Indiana State.
Colorado State was led by Dorian Green's 18 points.
