■ SERIES NOTES: The 51s have a better record on the road (21-23) than at home (19-24). ... Salt Lake features three of the Angels' top 10 prospects in catcher Hank Conger (No. 1), outfielder Peter Bourjos (No. 2) and right-hander Trevor Bell (No. 10). Bourjos leads the Pacific Coast League in triples with 11. ... Bees first baseman Mark Trumbo leads Salt Lake in homers (20) and RBIs (69) and will start for the PCL in Wednesday's Triple-A All-Star Game. ... Las Vegas catcher J.P. Arencibia was named the PCL's Player of the Week after batting .423 (11-for-26) with four homers and 12 RBIs from June 28 through Sunday. In a 30-day stretch from June 5 through Sunday, he hit .427 (44-for-103) with 13 homers, 14 doubles, 30 RBIs and 29 runs in 24 games. He's batting .316 with 22 homers and 59 RBIs in 72 games and will start for the PCL in the All-Star Game. Tied for the league lead in home runs, Arencibia also will participate in Monday's Home Run Derby. ... 51s newcomers Danny Perales and Manny Mayorson are off to strong starts. Perales, an outfielder, is batting .400 (6-for-15), and Mayorson, an infielder, is hitting .393 (11-for-28). ... Las Vegas leads the league in home runs (106) and is second in batting (.301) but is last in ERA (5.87). 51s starters are 25-39 with a 7.18 ERA, and relievers are 15-7 with a 4.04 ERA. ... Toronto sent infielder Jarrett Hoffpauir to Las Vegas and placed outfielder Chris Lubanski on the disabled list with an undisclosed injury, which means he won't play in the All-Star Game, which will take place at Coca-Cola Park in Allentown, Pa., about 50 miles from his hometown. ... This four-game series is the 51s' final one before the All-Star break, Sunday through Wednesday. The game between the International League and the PCL will be televised, starting at 4 p.m., on the MLB Network.
