San Jose State clamps down on BYU, 20-14

SAN JOSE, Calif. – David Fales threw for 305 yards, including three touchdowns in the first 17 minutes of the game, as San Jose State built a 20-7 halftime lead and hung on for a 20-14 victory over Brigham Young on Saturday.
Jamaal Williams scored on a 16-yard run in the second quarter for BYU (6-5).
Noel Grigsby caught two touchdown passes for the Spartans (9-2, 4-1 WAC).
