Silverado holds off Coronado

Katie Devlin's bloop single in the bottom of the seventh inning Tuesday gave Silverado a 10-9 victory over visiting Coronado in high school softball.
The Skyhawks led 8-0 before the Cougars rallied to tie the game on Sarah Detwiler's two-run double in the seventh.
Devlin was 3-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs. Detwiler went 3-for-4 with a homer and three RBIs for Coronado.
• Palo Verde 6, Centennial 2 -- At Palo Verde, Missy McCormick went 2-for-2 with two runs and an RBI, and struck out 10 for the Panthers.
Lauryn Stover was 2-for-3 with a triple for Palo Verde.
• Cheyenne 9, Legacy 8 -- At Cheyenne, Lindsey Galindo scored on Melanie Manley's one-out single in the bottom of the eighth as the Desert Shields rallied past the Longhorns.
Stephanie Vacca was 4-for-4 with an RBI for Cheyenne. Kayla Murray was 3-for-4 with two RBIs for Legacy.
• Cimarron-Memorial 8, Arbor View 5 -- At Arbor View, Starlyn Thomas went 3-for-3 with three RBIs for the Spartans.
Chelsea Williams was 3-for-4 with two RBIs for Cimarron. Nichole Diaz went 3-for-3 with four RBIs for the Aggies.
• Foothill 8, Liberty 6 -- At Liberty, Brandy Yamka went 2-for-4 with a home run and a double to lead the Falcons.
Robin Lowery went 3-for-4 with three RBIs for Liberty.
• Basic 17, Del Sol 2 -- At Del Sol, Megan Feher tossed a two-hitter and went 4-for-5 with a double to lead the Wolves.
Basic's Julie Valdepena went 3-for-5.
• Shadow Ridge 16, Mojave 1 -- At Shadow Ridge, Rae-Ann Bohm went 3-for-3 with two doubles, a home run and two RBIs for the Mustangs.
Amanda Aker threw a two-hitter with six strikeouts.
• Green Valley 19, Tech 0 -- At Tech, Razia Ali tossed a five-inning no-hitter, striking out nine, for the Gators.
Alicia Firelein went 4-for-5.
• Faith Lutheran 10-14, Virgin Valley 0-0 -- At Mesquite, Jessie Tracy went 6-for-8 with six RBIs to lead the Crusaders to a sweep.
Tracy threw a two-hitter with 16 strikeouts in the first game.
In the second game, Kellie Kersey threw a three-hitter and went 3-for-5, and Brittany Hampton was 4-for-5 with two doubles and four RBIs.
• Lake Mead 18, Laughlin 2 -- At Laughlin, Lynzee Freund tossed a no-hitter, leading the Eagles to a five-inning win.
Jenna Willis and Shannon Gibson homered for Lake Mead.
