■ HIGHLIGHTS: At Nashville, Tenn., Chris Narveson allowed three hits over seven innings, and three relievers came in to preserve the shutout for the Sounds (42-71), who have won the first three games of the four-game series against the 51s (60-51). ... Nashville broke open a one-run game with three runs in the eighth inning. Stephen Parker provided the key hit, a two-run double with two outs. ... All three runs in the eighth were off 51s reliever Jack Leathersich, but all were unearned. ... The loss spoiled another strong outing by the 51s’ Giancarlo Alvarado. He gave up six hits and a run over 6 1/3 innings. His ERA is 1.96 through seven starts.
