Marshall-RICE (Over 60½)

Rakeem Cato is a solid dual-threat quarterback for the Thundering Herd, who put up 59 points against East Carolina in their last outing and have scored at least 45 points in their past six games. Rice struggled against Tulane last week while facing the pressure of advancing to the Conference USA title game. Marshall would love to turn this into a track meet.

TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS (-2½) over Buffalo Bills

The Bills blew a 14-point lead last week in a game that could have put them firmly in the crowded AFC playoff picture. Instead, Buffalo fumbled away the opportunity and all hope to salvage the season. Now, the Bills must go on the road to face an improving Tampa Bay side looking to continue its momentum behind quarterback Mike Glennon.

Detroit Lions-PHILADELPHIA EAGLES (Under 54)

The Eagles defense has allowed 21 points or less in each of the past eight games, a huge part of their four-game win streak. The Lions defense has been dominant against the run for the past month, poised to contain LeSean McCoy. With winter weather looking possible in Philadelphia, a mid-50s total like this is simply too high.

SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS (-3) over Seattle Seahawks

Seahawks coach Pete Carroll is 0-3 at Candlestick Park and soon to be 0-4 after the 49ers get revenge for an embarrassing 29-3 loss on Sept. 15. An aggressive and fast San Francisco defense can shut down quarterback Russell Wilson, who looked great Monday night. The Seahawks are due to be humbled, and the 49ers are hungry.
