RENO – Malik Story scored 19 points, and UNR never trailed in beating Cal Poly 69-56 Tuesday night.
Story shot 5-for-7 from 3-point range. Jordan Burris had 13 points, and Jerry Evans Jr. grabbed 14 rebounds for the Wolf Pack (6-4). The score was tied at 15, but UNR took control from there and led 40-25 at halftime.
The Wolf Pack shot 45 percent from the field, and Cal Poly made 33 percent of its shots.
