Sundevils spread wealth in win

Senior Willie Bell led a balanced attack with 13 points as Eldorado stormed to a 20-8 first-quarter lead and used a strong second half for a 75-51 victory at Legacy on Friday.

Mike Elliott had 12 points and Marcus Moreland 10 as 10 Sundevils scored.

Eldorado outscored Legacy 42-28 in the second half.

Walter Chappell led Legacy with 16 points, and Sian Laine scored 10.

Clark 66, Del Sol 65 -- At Clark, Isidro Garcia made a 3-pointer at the overtime buzzer to lift the Chargers over the Dragons.

Dimarko Shoulders scored 23 points and Garcia 22 for Clark. Rabbit Toler had 11 points.

Maurice Lawson scored 21 points and Joe Maglaras 19 to fuel Del Sol.

Chaparral 55, Arbor View 53 -- At Arbor View, Tyler Bryant made three 3-pointers in the fourth quarter and finished with 25 points to lead a comeback by the Cowboys.

Chaparral trailed 30-24 at halftime but rallied for a 54-53 lead. After Cardale Spencer split two free throws with less than six seconds left, Arbor View's halfcourt bid to win the game was off the mark.

Tyquiese Anthony scored 12 points for the Cowboys.

Darington Banks led the Aggies with 19 points. James Graham scored 15 and Brooks Robinson 12.

Mojave 74, Silverado 70 -- At Mojave, Darian Norris scored 24 points to carry the Rattlers past the Skyhawks.

Kevin James had 11 points and 14 rebounds and Anthony Marshall scored 16 for Mojave.

Ali Sabra scored 26 points for Silverado, which made 11 3-pointers. Wade Collie had 19 points for the Skyhawks.

Lake Mead 64, Basic 39 -- At Basic, Jared Dean had 20 points as the Class 1A Eagles dominated the 4A Wolves.

Landon Littlefield and Steven Byrd scored 14 and 13 points for Lake Mead, which led 29-20 at halftime and outscored the Wolves 22-13 in the third quarter.

James Holmes led Basic with 15 points, and Josh Ross scored 10.

Palo Verde 76, Desert Pines 72 -- At Palo Verde, David Rawlinson scored 24 points to help the Panthers defeat the Jaguars.

Moses Morgan scored 14 points and Diamond Rivers 10 for Palo Verde, which led 47-38 entering the fourth quarter.

Kimani Bullard led four Desert Pines scorers in double figures with 14 points. Reggie Shaw scored 13, Cliff Harrell 12 and C.J. Myles 11.

Coronado 63, Bonanza 54 -- At Bonanza, Christian Hatch led all scorers with 19 points to carry the Cougars.

Tommy Tebbs and Cory Ford each scored 13 points for Coronado, which shot 21-for-37 from the free-throw line.

Tomo Delp led Bonanza with 14 points. Landry Peterson and Jordan Johnson each scored 12 for the Bengals, who were 8-for-21 from the line.

Las Vegas 74, Shadow Ridge 64 -- At Shadow Ridge, Tony Eackles and Zerrick Pryor each scored 17 points, and the Wildcats outscored the Mustangs 39-29 in the second half.

Christian Couthen scored 16 points for Las Vegas.

Zach Hafen paced the Mustangs with 14 points, and Tyler Marshall had 13 rebounds. Travis Brown had 13 points and Ray Singletary 11.

Cherry Creek (Colo.) 60, Durango 45 -- At Durango, Trey Eckloff scored 19 points to help Cherry Creek defeat the Trailblazers.

Marcus Falley had 17 points, six rebounds and three assists to lead Durango, which trailed 29-19 at halftime after a close first quarter.

Ron Barnes had 12 points and nine rebounds for the Trailblazers, and Jamal Crook scored 10.

Western 82, Tech 51 -- At Western, Phillip Payne scored 23 points, and the quick-starting Warriors won easily.

Zach Fowler had 18 points for Western, which led 23-8 after the first quarter. Johnny Diggs scored 15.

Marcus Boykins led Tech with 18 points.

Cimarron-Memorial 68, Valley 48 -- At Cimarron, Arthur Baker and Dale Puckett each scored 15 points, and the Spartans used a 17-8 spurt in the third quarter to pull away.

Mike Cutright scored 13 points for the Spartans, and Tyler Tuliau had 12 points and 11 rebounds.

David Michaels led Valley with 13 points.

Centennial 73, Rancho 50 -- At Centennial, Adam Young scored 19 points to help the Bulldogs defeat the Rams.

C.J. Hayes scored 11 and Ben Vozzola 10 for Centennial. Dijon Bowman led Rancho with 16 points.

Faith Lutheran 66, Carson 49 -- At Minden, Diontea Wright scored 17 points to help the Crusaders beat the Senators in the semifinals of the Carson Valley Classic.

The victory put Faith Lutheran into today's 4 p.m. championship game.

Max Done scored 11 for the Crusaders, who pulled away by outscoring Carson 38-17 in the middle quarters.

Mountain View 70, Spring Mountain 67 -- At Saville Middle School, Justyn Anderson scored 19 points as the Saints held off the Eagles.

Max Chappel and Brandon Carr each scored 11 for Mountain View. Ronnie Richardson led Spring Mountain with 15 points.

Moapa Valley 57, Enterprise (Utah) 55 -- At Enterprise, Shilo Sandoval had 16 points as the Pirates rallied for the win.

Dustin Maletich scored 11 points and Bobby Vallet 10 for Moapa Valley, which trailed 43-39 after the third quarter.
