Tiger Woods will make his next start in The Players Championship in two weeks.

The tournament, the PGA Tour’s flagship event, is at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., on May 7-10.

Woods, who won the Players for the second time in 2013, missed the tournament last year following back surgery. He also won the tournament in 2001.

Woods made the announcement Friday on Twitter:

“Looking forward to going back to THE PLAYERS this year, hoping for a repeat of 2013.”

he tweeted.

The 39-year-old Woods, after a nine-week layoff to work on his game, played in the Masters earlier this month and tied for 17th. He shot rounds of 73-69-68-73. His finish at Augusta National lifted him 10 spots to 101st in the World Golf Rankings.

Woods will be making his fourth start of the season. He did not qualify for next week’s World Golf Championships-Cadillac Match Play.
