Post Time 1:20 p.m.
Race 1 - 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $15,000, Claiming $12,500, 4-year-olds and up
Luis's Especial - Third start off a 2-month hiatus could be a return to form; big class drop can only help him.
Winning Tactics - Tepid chalk in an ugly opener; second start off a 10-month hiatus, ran evenly last time in return.
Long Shot - Scoonerwharfbardog
Race 2 - 6 furlongs (turf, rail at 15 feet), Purse $51,000, Allowance, 3-year-olds and up
Zetterberg - Finally broke his MSW in first start in 6-months; suspect he may have found a preferred surface, grass.
Beyond Loaded - Tepid chalk in a much harder than looks race; he has many gaps in his resume, some cause for concern.
Long Shot - Furioso Star
Race 3 - 6 furlongs, Purse $48,000, Maiden special weights, 3-year-olds and up
Wiredfortwotwenty - Ran big in debut, Brian Koriner babies tend to improve second time out; high strike rate with Joe Talamo.
Honouramongfriends - Jeff Mullins has an uncoupled entry in here, so be wary of Mr. Chips too; was favored in his debut.
Long Shot - More Humor
Race 4 - 6 furlongs (turf, rail at 15 feet), Purse $48,000, Maiden special weights, 3-year-olds and up
Premium Quality - Been unlucky to have not graduated by now; Jenine Sahadi finds a good spot, keep an eye out for the FTS.
Taleitlikeitain't - Regressed in second career start after a decent debut; he has the pedigree to like turf and improve.
Long Shot - Sky Victor
Race 5 - 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $32,000, Starter allowance $40,000, 3-year-olds and up
Tempting Treasures - Faltered in first race facing winners; his maiden claiming win two back was fast, enough to upset these.
Beau Smoke - Ran a cropper last time after a pair of good tries before that; leap of faith that he will rebound tonight.
Long Shot - Lemon
Race 6 - 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $48,000, Maiden special weights, Fillies, 2-year-olds
Stormy Gigi - FTS from the hot Brian Koriner barn; she is bred to be very quick, by Storm Boot out of an It's Freezing mare.
Candilejas - Slight favorite from the Jeff Mullins barn; is it my imagination or is Mullins in every race this final week.
Long Shot - Dash Dot Dash
Race 7 - 1 1/8th miles (turf, rail at 15 feet), Purse $53,000, Allowance, Fillies and mares, 4-year-olds and up
Restless Soul - Ran well in U.S. debut off an 6-month sabbatical; like the fact she chased a good one in Ransom Captive.
Saga Celebre - Paddy Gallagher Irish import makes her U.S. debut today; she may not find a softer spot without a price tag.
Long Shot - Le Cirque
Race 8 - 1 1/8th miles, $350,000 Swaps, 3-year-olds
Two Step Salsa - He really impressed in winning the Affirmed; he set a fast pace and kept going like the Energizer bunny.
Colonel John - Logical chalk if returning from a layoff like many of these today; the key is whether he is tight enough.
Long Shot - Madeo
Race 9 - 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $15,000, Maiden claiming $25,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
Humidity - Just missed last time in a decent effort; this is her second try to graduate at the bottom of the barrel class.
Afternoon Gold - Favored mainly because of Garrett Gomez, not for the low percentage barn; is everyone getting shipping money
Long Shot - Primed and Poised
Best Bet - Wiredfortwotwenty (race 3)
