Rebels picked to finish third in MW women’s soccer poll
UNLV was picked to finish third Thursday in the Mountain West women’s soccer preseason poll. San Diego State was predicted to repeat as league champions.
The Rebels received one first-place vote and tied newcomer Utah State with 77 points apiece in the poll. UNLV returns seven starters from last year’s team that went 12-4-4, including 3-1-3 in league play, and will be led by senior all-conference returnees Jenn Wolfe (forward), Courtney Botelho (midfielder) and Kylie Wassell (goalkeeper).
