Bryce Hamilton scored 30 points for UNLV, and freshman Keshon Gilbert excelled in his first start after Donovan Williams was declared out with an injury shortly before tipoff.

UNLV’s bench scored just four points in Thursday’s loss to Air Force, but coach Kevin Kruger said he’s confident his reserves will rebound Saturday against San Jose State.
A bright start for UNLV was wiped out by a 10-minute drought from the field, as the Rebels fell to Air Force on Thursday at Clune Arena in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
The Rebels shot 50 percent from the field and 3-point range in Monday’s win against San Jose State, despite an off night from leading scorer Bryce Hamilton.
