■ The 6-foot-5-inch center ranks No. 5 in career points (1,942) and rebounds (895).

■ Career scoring average of 18.3 (in 106 games) ranks second in school history to Eddie Owens.

■ Ranks third in career free throws made (497); led the team in scoring all four years.

■ Rebels had a 76-30 record in his four seasons.

After UNLV: Died of a heart attack in July 2004 at 60. Was a junior high school teacher, casino dealer and real estate agent. Survived by his ex-wife, Dorothy, three daughters and five grandchildren.
