UNLV’s Shakur Juiston earns second MW player of week honor

UNLV junior forward Shakur Juiston was named Mountain West player of the week for the second time this season.
He made 20 of 26 shots in victories over UNR and Wyoming, averaging 20.5 points and 13.0 rebounds in those games.
Juiston has 11 double-doubles, including 19 points and 12 rebounds in Wednesday’s 86-78 victory at UNR and 22 points and 14 boards in Saturday’s 85-70 win over Wyoming at the Thomas & Mack Center.
