UNLV’s offense played its best football in the second half of last weekend’s loss to Northern Illinois. Now the Rebels hope to carry that momentum into today’s game at Houston.
Houston routed UNLV, 69-0, in the season opener of 1989. The Cougars’ wide-open offense, led by quarterback Andre Ware, revolutionized college football.
John O’Korn is the latest Houston quarterback to carry on that school’s outstanding passing tradition. UNLV will try to contend with that attack on Saturday.
