When asked at his Monday news conference about the upcoming four-game stretch that is critical for UNLV’s football team and its coaching staff, coach Bobby Hauck said he and his players would answer questions only about this week’s opponent.
Caleb Herring sacrificed last season for the good of the football team by also playing wide receiver, but when given the chance in the spring to be a full-time quarterback again, he seized the opportunity.
He has the last name and jersey number, but whether Tau Lotulelei can come close to emulating what big brother John did at UNLV is in question. The question probably won’t be answered for a while, but early indications are encouraging for the Rebels.
