Watch Shaq take a spill on live TV — VIDEO

LOS ANGELES — Thanks to Shaquille O’Neal and the magic of live television, the Internet was graced with some serious slapstick humor on Wednesday.

The basketball star tripped on the set of TNT’s “Inside the NBA” halftime show during Game 2 between the Houston Rockets and the Los Angeles Clippers — and almost took the set down with him.

It’s a running gag on the show that O’Neal and fellow analyst Kenny Smith try to beat each other to TNT’s big screen, though this race clearly didn’t go so well for O’Neal.

Don’t worry, though: O’Neal, who stands at a whopping 7 feet 1 inch was able to laugh off the tumble, though not without blaming TNT’s Ernie Johnson for the whole ordeal.

Social media quickly took notice of the fall, but it’s not the first time O’Neal’s klutziness has garnered the Internet’s attention. He fell into a Christmas tree during the TNT halftime show last December.

O’Neal also turned his Wednesday night tumble into a bit of a contest.

“Whoever makes me the best meme of me bustin my a— (like this one) wins $500 cash. Go. #shaqtinafall”
