Sweet Tomatoes plans to support Easter Seals Southern Nevada by offering a free bag of cookies and a coupon toward each diner's next visit as a thank you for making a donation of $2 or more during June.

Over the last four years, Sweet Tomatoes has donated more than $119,000 to help Easter Seals locations across the country in its mission to help people with disabilities and other challenges.

The money raised will go directly to the Easter Seals services that assist nearly 6,000 Southern Nevada residents living with disabilities.

Participating locations in the Las Vegas Valley are at 375 N. Stephanie St., Henderson, 933-1212; 2080 N. Rainbow Blvd., 648-1957; and 9460 W. Flamingo Road, Suite 100, 242-0277.

plans Father'S day BBQ Buffet

A Father's Day BBQ Buffet is planned from noon to 4 p.m. June 19 at The Resort on Mount Charleston, 2275 Kyle Canyon Road.

The outdoor, all-you-can-eat barbecue will include hot dogs, hamburgers, barbecue beef and grilled chicken, along with corn, cole slaw, potato salad, barbecued beans and assorted desserts.

The cost is $15.95 for adults and $7.95 for children 12 or younger. Reservations are encouraged.

Radio City Pizzeria open at Tivoli Village

Radio City Pizzeria is now open at Tivoli Village at Queensridge.

The 2,000-square-foot restaurant at 440 S. Rampart Blvd. serves its gourmet pizzas by the slice or as a whole pie.

Options range from chicken Parmesan and Meat Lovers Delight to whole-wheat and gluten-free pies. The menu also has calzones and strombolis and zeppoles and cannolis.

Indoor and outdoor patio seating are available, along with a bar serving beer and wine. A walk-up window on the building's exterior offers patrons the opportunity to view pies being made directly from the street, going along with the traditionally Italian pizzeria theme.

Learn to roll sushi at Hachi

Hachi Modern Japanese, inside Red Rock Resort at 11011 W. Charleston Blvd., offers monthly sushi rolling classes. The next one is set for 6:30 p.m. June 16.

The two-hour class will offer each participant his or her own work area with all ingredients at arm's length. The cost is $85 per person, plus tax.

Festival of Beer headed to Tivoli Village

The 2011 Great Vegas Festival of Beer is planned from 5 to 9 p.m. June 18 at Tivoli Village at Queensridge at the corner of Alta Drive and Rampart Boulevard.

More than 100 beers will be served from 25 top breweries.

Tickets are $27 in advance online and $37 at the door and $10 for designated drivers.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit Boys & Girls Clubs of Las Vegas.

Via Brasil Steakhouse plans
Father's Day brunch

Via Brasil Steakhouse, 1225 S. Fort Apache Road, plans to serve a Father's Day brunch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 19.

The Rodizio brunch includes nine choices of all-you-can-eat meats, including prime rib, tenderloin in bacon and barbecue pork ribs, along with more than 30 breakfast and lunch options, soft drinks and one glass of fresh squeezed juice for $29.95.

A full Rodizio dinner with 16 all-you-can-eat meats, a gourmet salad bar and side dishes will be served from
3:30 to 9 p.m. for $42.95.

Brio Tuscan Grille to mark
National Lasagna Day

Brio Tuscan Grille at Tivoli Village at Queensridge, 420 S. Rampart Blvd., Suite 180, plans to celebrate National Lasagna Day by offering its signature lasagna entree for half price on July 28.

The housemade dish includes lasagna bolognese al forno, originally $17.25, available for $8.63 on that day.

Grimaldi's announces dining specials

Grimaldi's Coal Brick-Oven Pizzeria at Boca Park, 750 S. Rampart Blvd., is offering red or white sangria for $6 a glass.

The restaurant also is offering Tuesday Tastings from open to close every Tuesday, featuring half off glasses and bottles of wine now through September.

The offer excludes house wine and sangria and is not available on featured wines or with any other offers.

Fleming's announces Prime Celebrations menu

Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, 8721 W. Charleston Blvd., is offering a Prime Celebrations menu for $50 per guest or $100 per couple through June 30.

Appetizers (choice of one) are classic Caesar salad, Fleming's salad, The Wedge and chef's seasonal soup.

Entrees (choice of one) are petite filet mignon, New York strip, double chicken breast and tuna mignon. Sides (choice of one) are grilled high country asparagus, sautéed mushrooms, Fleming's potatoes and mashed potatoes.

Purchase tickets now for Yearlong beer festival coming in October

The Las Vegas World Beer Fest is scheduled to be open every Thursday through Sunday for one year beginning Oct. 13.

The international Oktoberfest-style showcase of micro brews, stouts, ales and more is set to take place from noon to 11 p.m. at the southwest corner of Flamingo Road and Koval Lane behind Bally's.

The event also is set to feature live performances from Las Vegas-based and international bands, an above-ground swimming pool to keep patrons cool, an above-ground spa, fresh food and celebrities from the United States behind some of the taps.

The entrance fee will be $10, and only 5,000 tickets will be available per day.

Package deals including ffod and beer tastings also are available.

Springs Cafe hosting Sunday brunch

The Springs Cafe at the Springs Preserve, 333 S. Valley View Blvd., plans to host an a la carte brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Sunday through June.

The cost is $21 for adults, $12.50 for children ages 4 to 12 and free for children 3 or younger. Coffee and soda are included.

Springs Preserve members receive 10 percent off the brunches.
