AC/DC is postponing six dates on its Black Ice World Tour, including a stop at the MGM Grand Garden Oct. 3.
According to a release from promoter Live Nation, lead singer Brian Johnson was told by his doctor to take a rest following a recent undisclosed medical procedure.
Further information about a new date is expected to be released by the middle of next week, and Live Nation recommended fans should hold on to their tickets pending new information.
The tour is scheduled to resume in Washington, D.C., Oct. 16.
The Black Ice World Tour began in October 2008 and crossed the United States and Europe twice. It is scheduled for Latin America in November and then Australia and New Zealand in early 2010.
