Aliante Gallery gives home shoppers lots of information, tools

The Aliante Information Gallery provides new residents and visitors with information about the new North Las Vegas master-planned community.

It is located near the southeast corner of Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway, and Aliante Parkway.

Information specialists at the center help visitors learn about the community, helping them identify homes and neighborhoods.

The Gallery features a large topographic model that is about 9 feet by 10 feet and is in an irregular shape and matches the exact perimeter of the community, enabling visitors to visually experience the master plan up close, from various vantage points.

The model also features a control panel with thousands of points of fiber-optic lighting to highlight the residential neighborhoods, parks, trails, retail shopping centers, Goynes Elementary School and future school sites. The Aliante Library and the other completed and planned amenities are also indicated

Three premier builders are offering a variety of home designs within five new neighborhoods in Aliante.

The Fields, by Astoria Homes, features a selection of two-story homes that range from 2,228 to 3,374 square feet and are priced from the low $300,000s.

Prominence, by Astoria Homes, is a gated neighborhood of two-story homes ranging from 2,830 to 4,449 square feet and priced from the upper $300,000s.

Sun City Aliante, by Del Webb, is an age-qualified community offering single-story homes that range from 1,155 to 2,105 square feet and priced from the mid-$200,000s.

Springdale, by Pardee Homes, is a gated neighborhood of one- and two-story homes ranging from 1,990 to 3,314 square feet and priced from the low $300,000s.

Autumn Ridge, by Pardee Homes, is a gated neighborhood that offers a selection of one- and two-story homes ranging from 2,695 to 4,025 square feet and priced from the mid $400,000s.

Aliante is a development of North Valley Enterprises LLC, an affiliate of American Nevada Co. and Pulte Homes. It encompasses more than 1,900 acres and will house more than 6,500 homes, with an anticipated population of about 20,000 when it's complete.

About 428 acres are designated for recreational and public purposes, including the Aliante Golf Club, the 20-acre Nature Discovery Park, Deer Springs Park, Aviary Park, more than 24 miles of lighted concrete trails and linear parks, and an arroyo.

Proposed plans include two elementary schools and a middle school, all of which would be built by the Clark County School District.

The community's first school, the Theron H. and Naomi D. Goynes Elementary School, opened in August 2005. A new fire station was opened in April 2004 and the Aliante Library, located adjacent to the Nature Discovery Park, opened in May 2006.

About 100 acres in Aliante are allocated for commercial development. Residents currently have access to shopping, dining and professional services at the community's retail centers and the Aliante Corporate Center office park.

Ground was broken during the first quarter of 2007 for the Aliante Station hotel and casino. The resort will be located on a 40-acre parcel at the northeast corner of I-215 and Aliante Parkway.

To visit the Aliante Information Gallery, take U.S. Highway 95 to the I-215 Exit East. Head east on the I-215, exit at Aliante Parkway and proceed south. The Gallery is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
