American West marks 27-year anniversary

American West is celebrating 27 years of homebuilding in Las Vegas.

When Canarelli dreamed of being able to build beautiful homes for the families of Las Vegas, he could never image that the future would bring more than 15,000 homeowners, 71 communities and 27 years of doing what he loves to do -- homebuilding.

As a small boy, Canarelli used to walk the beautiful homes where he lived and wish that one day his family could live in one.

Growing up, he realized that his dream grew to providing homes for families just like his own.

Twenty-seven years later, he watches that dream come true every day while more and more families move into a new American West home.

As a local, family-owned company, Canarelli said American West takes great pride in the homes it builds and the communities that have helped shape the growth of Las Vegas.
