Angle scurries from Reno photo-op
Senate hopeful Sharron Angle continued her odd behavior with the media on Wednesday in Reno, where she addressed a small gathering of reporters for less than five minutes on the subject of taxes, then turned on her heel and scurried out the back door of a local business without answering any questions. Reporters pursued her a bit, but they seemed stunned by the behavior.
An Angle press rep said the candidate had run out of time.
Angle's advocates neglected to mention that this WAS THEIR PRESS CONFERENCE.
This wasn't some gotcha ambush job. This was their event.
The video, of course, is being used by operatives of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. And why not? It's a gift.
Angle looks like she’s afraid to answer a few questions about the latest rumbles in the campaign, including a recent remark by Rep. Dean Heller questioning her political views.
In recent days, Angle has ducked out of interviews with the very conservative Review-Journal editorial board and even-handed Sam Shad’s statewide “Nevada Newsmakers” TV show. She has managed to find time to be interviewed by conservative and Christian media, and she gave a Christian-themed interview to the Reno Gazette-Journal.
