AROUND TOWN: Daves eat free Oct. 14 at Famous Dave’s BBQ

What’s in a name? Well, on Oct. 14, that answer has never been simpler or tastier, as Famous Dave’s BBQ, 9695 W. Flamingo Road, has declared that all those named Dave or David will be welcome to a free entrée.

The deal was designed to celebrate restaurant founder Dave Anderson, who “is the epitome of the American success story,” said Dave Dworak, who operates five Famous Dave’s location in Las Vegas and Arizona.

Daves may eat free from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. A valid photo ID is required, and there’s a limit of one free entrée per each Dave. The offer is valid for dine-in only, and to prevent rampant freeloading, all Daves must be accompanied by a non-Dave purchasing an entrée. Alcohol not included.
