Ausmus finishes 5th at WSOP Main Event, wins more than $2.155 million

Jeremy Ausmus of Las Vegas was eliminated in fifth place in the Main Event of the World Series of Poker and earned $2,155,313.
Jesse Sylvia of Las Vegas took down a large pot when Ausmus missed out on an open-ended straight.
With the elimination, Sylvia solidified his hold on second place with 63.5 million chips, but still trailed Greg Merson, who has 86.4 million.
Jake Balsiger is third with 30.9 million while Russell Thomas has 17.175 million and sits in fourth.
Only one more elimination remains to get down to the final three.
