Biden: ‘It’s a depression’
June 27, 2012 - 1:26 pm
Joe "Say-It-Ain't-So" Biden's done it again! In a speech this morning in Dubuque, Iowa, the vice president characterized the current economy as a "depression" for millions of Americans.
Well, jeez, Joe. The president just a few weeks ago said the private sector is "doing fine." Can you have a depression when the private sector is "doing fine"? And Democrats around the country, who are running for office and trying to make a go of the economic pitch that the president's plans are working (like Nevada's Shelley Berkley), just got cut off at the knees.
You can defend Biden as "Joe is being Joe" if you like. But, man, as a campaigner this guy is a loose cannon.
