Builders showcase homes in Summerlin’s The Mesa village
More than a dozen home floor plans are currently selling in The Mesa village of Summerlin, the community's newest and most southern village developed to date.
The Mesa is a nearly 500-acre, desert contemporary-inspired residential village located adjacent to the Spring Mountains in the southwest region of the valley.
Ladera Terrace by Lennar features three home floor plans that range from 2,320 to 2,622 square feet and are priced in the mid-$200,000s.
Pulte Homes' is offering six two-story home floor plans in two home collections: Ventana Amado and Terraza Amado. Ventana Amado's home designs range from 1,810 to 2,100 square feet and are priced in the low $200,000s.
Terraza Amado's floor plans range from 2,197 to 2,575 square feet and are priced starting in the mid-$200,000s.
Richmond American Homes also features two home collections at Amado: Amado Ridge and Amado Crest. Amado Ridge's models range from 1,450 to 2,250 square feet and are priced from the low $200,000s.
Amado Crest offers one- and two-story home designs that range from 1,850 to 3,050 square feet. Prices start in the mid-$200,000s.
Ladera and Amado feature a private resident park and pool area, which complement the other recreational amenities in The Mesa. Those include miles of walking trails and The Mesa Park, a 19-acre village park with three Little League baseball fields (one with a concession stand), lighted tennis and basketball courts, a tot lot area and picnic ramadas.
The Mesa is also home to the 35-acre Bishop Gorman High School, a Catholic college preparatory school that opened in 2007.
Future plans for the village include additional neighborhoods and a house of worship.
"The Mesa is a quaint village offering all the benefits of a Summerlin address with the added perk of living adjacent to the Spring Mountains," said Peggy Chandler, senior vice president of community development for The Howard Hughes Corp., developer of Summerlin.
"The mountain backdrop adds a sense of beauty and exclusivity to the area that homebuyers are sure to enjoy."
To visit the community, from the Las Vegas Beltway, exit westbound at Russell Road and follow the directional signs to the actively selling neighborhoods.

The community is currently home to nearly 100,000 residents.
