Businessman chooses BMW

Southern Nevada businessman Tim Deibert says he doesn't have any bad habits. The vice president of All Western Mortgage in the southwestern valley, Deibert works long hours battling a tough economy, and figures that he deserves to drive a nice car.

So the outgoing and energetic Deibert drives a 2011 740 Li purchased from Desert BMW in October.

"I love cars, and I especially love my BMW," said Deibert, a 42-year-old native of Canada who has lived in Las Vegas for 15 years. "When I buy a car at Desert BMW, I'm in and out of there in less than an hour. I know what I want and they know what I want. It is all black and white. Deibert said he likes the luxury of his BMW, along with the room in the back seat, considering he has two young daughters.

"The interior is extremely modern and the iDrive is perfect," Deibert said. "I have owned two Porsche Carreras and some other high-end cars, but my last five cars have been BMW for a reason. Their braking systems, safety features and overall handling is unmatched, not to mention their modern styling."

Deibert also lauded the fact that customers do not pay for maintenance for the first four years.

"I don't keep my cars that long anyway, but it's nice knowing that you won't have any unexpected bills on a high-end car like this one. I live conservatively but I work hard and I spoil myself with nice cars."

Dealership General Manager Shane O'Hanrahan said Deibert is included in the astute clientele that counts on Desert BMW.

"The luxury vehicle market represents a very astute clientele of buyers," O'Hanrahan said. "Tim is a great example of that, and we always know that our customers are happy when they leave. We work hard to make sure the customer service matches the quality of the BMW vehicle in pride and excellence."

O'Hanrahan said the personal service provided by Desert BMW is very important.

"I try and meet every one of my customers," he said. "The personal relationship with our clients is what makes our store unique. I met Tim four years ago, and since then I have sold him six cars; two of them were new cars from makes other than BMW. Our business is as easy as a phone call, and we have the car waiting up front for him when he arrives. I value Tim as a customer, but more so as a friend with whom I do business."

Desert BMW is situated at 6900 W. Sahara Ave. Further information can be found by calling 871-1010 or by visiting www.desertbmwoflasvegas.com.
