VIEW NEIGHBORHOOD NEWSPAPERS SEEKS FEEDBACK ABOUT COMMUNITY COVERAGE
Participants are needed for a focus group to help View Neighborhood Newspapers improve its coverage of the Centennial Hills area.
The event is set for 6-8 p.m. Wednesday in classroom 4 at the Centennial Hills Community Center YMCA, 6601 N. Buffalo Drive.
Input will be aimed at helping View best serve the readers of its seven neighborhood-specific sections, including Centennial. Light refreshments are planned.

MEETINGS TO ADDRESS PROPOSED BUSINESS
Two public meetings to discuss a 3,900 -square-foot tavern with gaming proposed for Durango Drive and Deer Springs Way are planned for 6 p.m. Thursday and April 26 at the Centennial Hills Community Center YMCA, 6601 N. Buffalo Drive.
The meetings are to discuss variances sought by NLV Pasta LLC for gaming, a liquor license and parking for 8001 N. Durango Drive, Suite 110 .

VENDORS SOUGHT FOR GILCREASE
ARTS AND CRAFTS FESTIVAL
Vendors are needed for the Gilcrease Nature Sanctuary Spring Fling Arts & Crafts festival planned for 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 28 and 29 at 8103 Racel St.
Booths are available to handmade crafts and small-business vendors, demonstrators, entertainment, cultural outreach partners and food.
The vendor fee is $30 per day, with a $25 deposit. An additional fee of $10 is to be applied for electrical hook up. Participants also must supply their own tables and shade structures.
A picnic area and children's activities are planned. A vendor sign-up sheet is available at the sanctuary.

CENTENNIAL HILLS ROTARY CLUB
PLANS CHARITY GOLF TOURNAMENT
A charity golf tournament hosted by the Centennial Hills Rotary Club is set for 8 a.m. Saturday at the Silverstone Golf Club , 8600 Cupp Drive .
Comedian Hal Sparks is to host the event, and a luncheon and silent auction are planned.
Proceeds are to benefit the Lili Claire Foundation , which assists children with special needs. Tickets are $150 per person or $500 per four-member team.

YMCA EVENT TO PROMOTE
HEALTHY LIFESTYLE FOR KIDS
Healthy Kids Day, a free day of interactive games, face painting, entertainment, wellness screenings, vendor exhibits and demonstrations and more, is planned from 10 a.m. to noon April 28 at the Centennial Hills Community Center YMCA, 6601 N. Buffalo Drive .
Healthy Kids Day, a national YMCA initiative, is designed to help parents improve their kids' lifestyles for the long term.
The YMCA is to waive its joining fee and include a free program for any family or individual who joins during the April 28 event. The offer is valued at up to $150.
