The Las Vegas Philharmonic: Masterworks Series II “Love of Country” is scheduled at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 23 at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts, 361 Symphony Park Ave. The Philharmonic and guest conductor George Hanson are set to perform Beethoven’s Symphony No. 3 “Eroica” to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the assassination of John F. Glittering Lights, the holiday drive-through spectacular, is scheduled through Jan. 5 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, 7000 Las Vegas Blvd. North. The event is set to feature more than 400 animated lights along a 2.5-mile racetrack. The event is scheduled to be open from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 5:30 to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
