Chapman expands goal to serve Hispanic community

Managers at Chapman Automotive Group understand that merely translating a commercial into Spanish is not the way to reach potential Hispanic customers in Southern Nevada. However, maintaining a long-standing commitment, along with supporting team members, has proven successful in building a relationship with area residents.

Chapman Chrysler Jeep in the Valley Automall in Henderson recently expanded its commitment to Hispanics by maximizing its investment in the community and developing new marketing efforts that resonate with Spanish-speaking consumers.

"We've always been committed to the Hispanic community, but I wanted to take certain measures to do it the right way," said Gary Brewer, general manager . "My first step was to begin internally by hiring a talented group of bilingual salespeople and service team members. We now have Josie Soto, also known as 'La Prima,' on board, who has hit the ground running here as our lead salesperson for the Hispanic community. She is featured in the latest Chapman commercial airing on Univision and Telemundo along with our fabulous team.

"Now that we have a great team in place, we are excited to get out into the community and build relationships where Hispanics live, work and play. We are currently at the Broadacres Marketplace and Event Center located at the intersection of Las Vegas Boulevard and Pecos Boulevard in North Las Vegas every Friday, Saturday and Sunday."

Additional Hispanic community marketing efforts include participation in the ROTC program at Sunrise High School.
