City turns entire street into massive water slide

It may not feel like summer in England yet, but that isn’t stopping one town from celebrating like it is.

Hundreds of people in Bristol, England, got the chance to slide down a massive water slide on Sunday after artist Luke Jerram turned one of the city’s main roads into a fully functional Slip ‘n Slide as a part of the city’s Make Sunday Special initiative. The initiative closes Bristol streets to cars once a month so residents can participate in car-free, cultural events.

Jerram crowd-funded the project, according to Gizmodo, which posted photos of the event. Check out the video above.
